The MirageXTRACTOR

Moisture in the air is the most viable water source for the future. Water created from atmospheric humidity is readily available and unlimited in supply. Clean, pure drinking water is critical for survival and has been called the oil of the 21st Century. However, 97% of the earth's water is found in the oceans, making it undrinkable. The World Health Organization estimates that 80% of human illness is caused by contaminated drinking water while a totally untapped drinking water source is available. You can’t squeeze blood from a stone, but wringing water from the desert sky is now possible, thanks to our new water extracting device, the MirageXTRACTOR, which uses sunlight or solar if you will, to suck water vapor from air, even in low humidity. With low power consumption, our compact proposed device should be able to produce nearly 3 liters of water per day, future versions will be even better.

How it Works

Have you ever seen water droplets collect on the outside of your cold beverage container? Water vapor is always in the air and when the vapor is cooled, water molecules slow down and move closer together which transforms the vapor from a gas into a liquid, or water. The MirageXTRACTOR speeds up this process using a combination of advanced technologies with electrical current which now gives water on-demand, when it's needed.

Nanotechnology

Our funding will be used for further development and design for manufacturing of our present prototype unit. We will be using the newest tools in nanotechnology for the design and optimization of our condensation chamber. Our first release units will be geared to produce drinkable water for human consumption in smaller quantities.

Add the fact that our unit is smaller and easily expanded for increased quantity of water harvested while using less energy to accomplish this, that is why it is easy to see the difference and that's what matters. We are also utilizing technologies that will increase our unit's efficiancy, that no one else has yet begun to explore.

Filtration & Treatment

Our project team is working on product development for production and optimization of our condensate platform. The first units will incorporate a filtration and treatment module while the ones proposed for a water harvesting will be set up for that section to be done at the reservoir level.
